"Acoustic studies for sardinian bells" is a sound investigation on 15 different sardinian bells. Cowbells are commonly used to quickly find the pack leaders of flocks, or to recognize the herd. Our work wants to bring out the hidden sound of the cowbells through timbre research, thus altering their strong identity. This research developed through extended techniques and aims for the redefinition of the instrument/object from a physical and conceptual point of view, thus obtaining unexpected sound results.
